3M 4255+ A2 P3 Maintenance Free Gas/Vapour and Particulate Respirator
3M™ Maintenance Free A2 P3 Half Mask 4255+ is a simple and ready-to-use respirator with an integrated cartridge and filters. A newly enhanced valve assembly helps to reduce exhalation breathing resistance, and the close-fitting, non-silicone, textured face seal is soft and non-allergenic. Includes a resealable bag for hygienic storage and transportation.

Cleaning and Storage :
•If the respirator is to be used for more than one shift it should be cleaned at the end of each shift and stored between shifts in the original packaging.
•To clean the respirator, the faceseal should be wiped with a cloth moistened in warm soapy water (the water
temperature should be below 40°C) and dried at room temperature.
• The product MUST NOT be immersed in water during cleaning. Alternatively, the faceseal may be cleaned using 3M™ 504 Respirator Cleaning Wipes.
•Always check that the product has not exceeded the use by date before use. Respiratory Protection is only
effective if it is correctly selected, fitted and worn throughout the time when the wearer is exposed to respiratory
contaminants

The integrated cartridge and filters are maintenance-free; simply use them until your change-out schedule indicates a replacement is needed or when the filters are full, and then discard them. An adjustable head cradle helps fit to a broad range of head shapes and sizes, and the neck straps are easy to fasten. The low-profile design won’t hinder your peripheral vision, and the two large, bonded-carbon filters provide low breathing resistance. FFA2P3 R D protects against organic vapours with a boiling point greater than 65 °C, up to 10 x Workplace Exposure Limit (WEL) or 5000 ppm (whichever is lower), and 20 x WEL for particulates.
